John, have you ever been to Indonesia?
Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
And we'll live peacefully without all those so-called religious sinetrons .... where obeying God is all about hell and heaven, and "thou shall receive the wrath of God if not" paradigm.
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
And we'll live peacefully without all those fanaticism and "In the name of God" anarchism ...
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
And we'll live peacefully and happily without all those greedy monsters called Corruptors, or representatives at parliament, or ... (us?)
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one
I certainly hope so.
